The opinion poll was conducted from January 31st to February 4 with a sample size of 3000 randomly selected respondents across Delhi.

Seat Share

According to the opinion poll, Bhartiya Janata Party is all set to bag 33 seats in Delhi Assembly. This is an addition of 1 seat more than their last tally of 32 seats. News Nation’s previous opinion poll conducted before the announcement of Kiran Bedi as BJP’s chief ministerial candidate had expected 31 seats for BJP.

The minimal rise of one seat in BJP’s seat share is perceived as the result of Kiran Bedi’s announcement of CM candidate and PM Modi’s series of campaign rallies for the party.

BJP+ bagged 32 seats in last Delhi Assembly Polls. The party was reduced to 28 seats in the Assembly after three MLAs Harsh Vardhan, Ramesh Bidhuri and Pervesh Verma were elected to the Parliament.

Aam Aadmi Party is slightly behind BJP with 32 seats, this is four more than what it got in last Assembly Polls.

The Congress party is expected to further lose 4 seats and its tally is expected to marginalise to 4 seats from 8 seats in comparison to last Delhi Assembly Polls.
