Now, this may come as disappointing news to all the Google Talk (Gtalk) lovers as Google is all set to shut down the popular messenger on February 16.
The users will have no option than switching to Hangouts as the search giant has planned to shut the Google Talk down.
Gtalk was unavailable for download from Google and all of a sudden Hangouts replaced the messenger, creating confusion for most of the users. Users who tried to download Gtalk were pushed to Google Hangouts download page.
But now, Google has officially made it clear that Gtalk will not work from February 16.
