Saira Bano began her career in 2006 with Aaj Tak, where she worked as a correspondent and anchor. She was one of the members of the team which launched Dilli Aaj Tak and also worked for a year in Mumbai for the same channel.
Saira, who is a Principal Correspondent and Anchor (Entertainment) with News Nation, has also worked as a crime reporter in the past.
She is also one of the core members of the team involved in the successful launch of News Nation in 2013.
Saira successfully covered IIFA in USA in 2014 and in Macau in 2013. She has interviewed TV celebs as well as top Bollywood stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan and Rani Mukerji.
News Nation’s programme ‘Bemisaal Sau Saal’, anchored by Saira, won the Best Mini-Series at ITA in 2013.
Saira’s show ‘Rancho Ka Shehar’ was nominated in INDIAN TELEVISION ACADEMY AWARD (ITA) in Best Music & Film Based Show category in 2014.
