New Delhi:
CBI has arrested a sub-inspector of Delhi Police while allegedly receiving a bribe of Rs 70,000 for not arresting a person in connection with a complaint filed before him.
CBI sources said Nirmal Singh, sub-inspector posted in operations cells, Maurice Nagar, was arrested by the agency after he was allegedly caught red-handed receiving the bribe from a person on the pretext of letting him go in a complaint filed before him.
The sources said he was sent today to police custody for two days.
