In a recent poster war, Chinese Internet TV (Leshi TV or LeTV) compared Apple Inc with Hitler. The image was posted by CEO and founder of the company on its official LeTV Weibo account.
The picture shows an image of Hitler wearing a red armband with an Apple logo on it and a smartphone with doors opening to freedom.
It was originally posted hinting out at the upcoming smartphone from LeTV.
The poster in the native language read, “Crowdsourced, freedom vs. arrogance, tyranny”.
With crowdsourced and freedom, company targeted the Android operating systems; with arrogance and tyranny, company targeted the iOS and entire Apple ecosystem.
The CEO also compared the Apple Inc as a ‘Dusk Empire’ which will fail and fall in time.
This is not the first time that Apple has been hit in poster war; earlier Google also in its advertisement campaign took aim at Apple by saying “Be together, not the same.”
