Sunrisers Hyderabad- In 2013, the team came in place of Deccan Chargers and put up a good show to place them self in the fourth position of the league table. But, in 2014 they were unable to repeat their success and finished sixth in the table.
With certain changes in the squad, the team will look to do better under Australian opener David Warner. With players like Shikhar Dhawan, Kevin Pietersen, Eoin Morgan, Dale Steyn, Trent Boult and co in their ranks, the team will be a serious threat for the other teams.
Former Australian Tom Moody will decide the proceedings for Sunrisers as head coach off the ground. The team spend whopping Rs 3.80 crore for Trent Boult and Rs 2.20 crore for Praveen Kumar to boost their bowling attack. Sunrisers have inducted Muttiah Muralitharan in their coaching staff to strengthen their spin attack.
With mentors like Krishnamachari Srikkanth and VVS Laxman, the team is poised to do well in the eight edition of the league.
The bowling attack will be led by speedster Dale Steyn with Trent Boult, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ishant Sharma can share the new ball. Meanwhile, in form Shikhar Dhawan and skipper David Warner will lead the attack with bat. The middle order will be handled by Kevin Pietersen, Moises Henriques and Laxmi Ratan Shukla. Sunrisers can turn Uppal their fortress with their bowling fire power.
The team lacks good spinners to content opposition in middle overs, which can hunt the team in Indian pitches.
