New Delhi:
Mahesh Bhatt’s 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani' starring Emraan Hashmi, Vidya Balan and Rajkumar Rao released this week on Box-Office. It is based on the love story of Bhatt's parents, Nanabhai Bhatt, Shirin Mohammad Ali and his stepmother.
The trailer for the film was released on May 4 and soon after watching that, convincing self to go for it was nothing less than beating around the bush.
They call it a real life story, but the cheesiness portrayed seriously doubt us if it was intended as a tribute or a funny take on their life.
Vidya Balan plays the character of a woman whose husband becomes a victim of militants in Bastar and is no where to support her battle for life. Finding a better life for son she falls in love of with her boss Emraan Hashmi, they plan to get married but then Rajkumar Rao returns to ruin their life. Heavy dialogues, drama, emotion, horror and horrific incomplete end kill it all.
For this particular movie we chose to drop our review.
Character assassination:
Starting with a Koi Mil Gaya’s ‘Jadoo’ signature ‘Dhoop’ step, she failed every time to justify the kind of act anyone would expect from her. In comparison to her old acts this one was nowhere near them.
The serial kisser of Bollywood! Don’t even expect to see him like that in this film. Even the kiss which was in trailer has been chopped off from the film. A total disappointment for the fans who would spend their money to watch Emraan and his charisma in this. Mr Hashmi was recently quoted saying he has become a good boy with this. Well, I agree totally.
He is the one who is the only one who managed to skip the boundary of disappointment. But, I don’t think people are going to watch this movie because of him. Feeling sorry for this brilliant actor.
