It seems if writing biographies is a new trend in Bollywood. This time actress Anu Aggarwal who appeared in Aahiqui has announced that her autobiography will be released next month. The book will be named “Anusual- Memoir of a Girl who Came Back from the Dead”.
Anu posted a message about the book on Facebook. The message reads:
“Finally guys, Hooray! A ‘Never-say-die-story’. Bigger than a Bollywood blockbuster, my unpredictable life, will be out in stores next month. Go grab a copy of ‘Anusual’:)___*”
A Mahesh Bhatt’s discovery, Anu debuted with “Aashiqui” and shot to fame quickly with her first release but didn’t go far with her career.
Anu Aggarwal was one of the best discoveries of Mahesh Bhatt. The actress attained fame very quikly for her work in the blockbuster “Aashiqui” but due to some unwanted reasons she coundn’t go far in her career.
In 1999, Anu met a near-fatal accident in Mumbai which sent her into a 29-day coma. At that point, she had to forcefully bid adieu to tinsel town.
That episode is Anu’s life changed the course of her career. Anu turned to a spiritual seeker and yoga trainer afterwards. And this book is believed to be about all the stuff that happened to her life. Also, “Anusual” is said to be about the actress’s life before and after near-death experience.
As per her interview in 2013, the book contains a chapter titled a “Excessive fame and the mother f****r”. The chapter throws light to some worst things happen to her and about stalkers, and stardom.
