New Delhi:

The Vyapam scam has been the throne in the skin of Shivraj Singh Chauhan government in Madhya Pradesh. The Opposition is not leaving any stone unturned to corner the BJP government in both Centre and state.

Raking up the issue, Home minister Rajnath Singh said there would be no CBI inquiry into the infamous scam until a court directed the investigating agency to look into it. The scam has rattled chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's third term. The opposition is asking the CM to step down on moral grounds.

"An SIT is investigating this, and the SIT is not working under the Madhya Pradesh government, but under the HC's supervision," Singh said after meeting MP CM. The HM also said the Opposition is making an issue out of nothing and things should not be politicised.

The Home Minister also said, "If the Supreme Court and the high court feel the SIT is not investigating the case properly and that a CBI inquiry must be initiated, the MP government would be ready for it.”

Around 44 people have died, who were linked to the infamous scam.
