The much-awaited trailer of Salman Khan's “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” was out on Thursday giving the feel and presence of a typical Sooraj Barjatya movie with its opulent sets, over-the-top costumes and a family feud at the centre of the story.
The trailer is shorter than the usual trailers and is only 2.12 seconds long. It also didn't give out much of the story and concentrates on the magnificient sets and characters.
The trailer also gives us a glimpse of the dual characters played by Salman, who will definitely remind you of his 'Hum Apke Hai Kaun' days. Salman is seen sporting two looks in the trailer- one clean-shaven and the other with moustache.
The director and producer of the movie have not spilled the beans about the film's story.
Sources have also revealed that PRDP has an elaborate climax, possibly the longest for any film in Bollywood. There will be montages of the action scenes in the trailer where Salman will be seen sword fighting.
Sonam Kapoor, who plays Salman’s lady love is also featured in the trailer along Swara Bhaskar as the superstar’s younger sister and Anupam Kher.
As seen in the trailer, Salman bows down in front of his family portrait followed by his voice over, “I am back.”

Then other characters in the movie are introduced with regal backdrops followed with lavish song-and-dance sequences.
The trailer was launched on Thursday by the “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” star on Twitter who shared the over two-minute video alongwith the dialogue from the film which is releasing this Diwali.
The 49-year-old actor called the family drama his one of the “most beautiful” collaboration with Barjatya’s Rajshri Films.
“PRDP is for everyone with family & wanting to have one. ‘Sabke Families mein problem hoti hai, lekin woh khush naseeb hai jinki family hoti hai’ (There are probelems in every family, but fortunate are those, who have one).”
“This is one of the most beautiful film that Sooraj/Rajshri & me have done together in every aspect. The trailer will convey #PRDPtrailer,” he tweeted.
Sonam also shared the link of the video online. The trailer also offers glimpses of Neil Nitin Mukesh, Deepak Dobriyal and Armaan Kohli of “Bigg Boss” fame.
The movie will hit theatres on November 12.
Salman and Barjatya gave hits like “Maine Pyaar Kiya” and “Hum Aap Ke Hain Koun?”. They last worked together in 1999 family drama “Hum Saath Saath Hain”.
