New Delhi:

Good news for Sajid Khan! Akshay Kumar's brand new release 'Singh is Bliing', starring Lara Dutta and Amy Jackson in the lead roles, is in direct competition with 'Humshakals'.

Be it humour, comedy or script, there is barely anything which falls short in both the films. Yes, I know 'Singh is Bliing' comes with less lead characters, but don't expect less as there are bunch of Sardaars who won't let you feel their absence.

Bad start for Prabhudeva! It is his first 'hindi' movie as a director, which is not a remake from down South, and second with Akshay Kumar after 'Rowdey Rathore'.

This one is so terrifically bad that even 'Rowdy Rathore' seems to be a masterpiece created by Prabhudeva.

The makers claim that there is story and also a screenplay, which is credited to the production house Grazing Goat Pictures. Well, people do commit mistakes. Now proven!

The film begins with cows discussing humans and their behaviours but when humans take over the feeling gets stuck and result goes nowhere.

As it tries to hit too many ideas like women empowerment, respecting parents, comic drama and emotions amid an unhappening love story; the film fails to shine with nothing in particular.

Akshay Kumar, who has brilliant expression and comic timing, has been left with a loud mouth in this one. From predictable dialogues to not so new and interesting action sequences, he has been wasted to the maximum.

Amy Jackson, however, comes as a refreshment. She fights, flaunts and speaks not a single 'hindi' word; but still manages to keep eyes glued to her. No, i am not praising!

What to say about talented Kay Kay Menon and Lara Dutta. One sticks to the dialogue ‘I am too good, na.’ and other juggles as a translator. Both performing best in the worst of their careers.

As i earlier mentioned, there is no story. The film tries to swirl around life of Raftaar Singh (Akshay Kumar), who is happy-go-lucky Sardaar from Punjab's Bassi Pathana. Since he has no motive in his life, his father packs him off to Goa to work for a friend.

He gets a job to protect Sara Rana (Amy Jackson), who is in Goa from Romania to find her lost mother. She has one enemy Mark (Kay Kay Menon), whom she had once humiliated in public for acting smart with her.

Saving her is not the only task Raftaar has, the bigger problem lies with speaking English. Sara can't speak Hindi and Raftaar Singh understands nothing in English, Here comes an interpreter (Lara Dutta) - she is normal in day light and is a nightmare for young boys. Yes! she comes with a fetish to break balls of youngsters with a coconut during night.

Still not bored! You seriously got guts. The rest part of the film lies juggling amongst all to find a situation where laughter may find a place. But, the chances are that most people would be left disappointed with this one.

Final verdict: 'Singh is Bliing' is highly intolerable and is seriously unfunny. Only Akshay Kumar fans would be able to last till the end. Watch it on your own risk.
