It can be hard to balance a good lifestyle while keeping pace with the changing needs of the work pressure that you are in. There are a lot of factors that decide your stress levels in life from eating habits, lifestyle, work conditions to job nature.

It becomes extremely important to de-stress yourself from the daily troubles.  For a quick relief, you can try these relaxation exercises that you can do anywhere, anytime.

Here are some of the suggested relaxation techniques:

1 Mind Relaxation

Close your eyes, breathe normally through nose. As you exhale, you a positive word, such as ‘I feel calm’ or ‘peaceful’ say this to yourself.  Continue this for ten minutes.

2 Minute Meditation

Exhale slowly, take a few deep breaths.  After scanning your body mentally, spot the areas that need more focus.  Let go of as many negative emotions as you can. To make yourself feel good think of a good time in past or imagine a beautiful flower for the time you are meditating.

3 Deep Breathing Relaxation

To combat anxiety, stress you can practice taking deep breaths to make yourself feel relaxed.  During the break or after lunch you can try this deep breathing relaxation, it works wonder.

4 Visualisation

Imagining beautiful things make the mind calm, tranquil and stress free. It is a potent method to reduce stress, negative feelings/ thoughts from the mind.  You can imagine a scenery or some verdant space to experience tranquility within.

5 Physical Exercises

Physical activity are one of the best ways to prevent any kind of stress related problems.  You can easily follow a rule of 4 physical exercises which should be done either for 40 minutes or 4 kilometers or 4 times a week.
