Diwali festival season was marred by unfortunate tragedy on Mnday morning after hundreds of slum dwellings were destroyed in a huge fire in New Delhi's Mangolpuri area.
According to reports, there have been no reports of casualties but between 250 and 400 slum dwellings were destroyed in the blazing fire in the north western New Delhi neighborhood.
The incident happened around 2:00am.
More than 25 fire trucks have been deployed to the scene in order to contain it.
