The Indian consumer electronics company, Micromax is set to bring a new flagship 4G phone in market today. This comes next after launching the flagship Canvas 5 smartphone recently.

The phone, who invites already went out last week, is set to be priced under Rs 8,000. It will compete with the likes of Xiaomi, Lenovo, Coolpad and others.

In the coming months, more users are likely to shift to 4G with the launch of 4G services from Reliance Jio and Vodafone. The brand is also set to launch more 4G-enabled smartphones under Rs 10,000.

Micromax Canvas 5: The new flagship smartphone has been priced at Rs 11,999 and features a 5.2 FHD screen with corning gorilla glass. It has a screen resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and 423 PPI. The sleek and stylish metal body has 4.8mm visual thickness giving it a thumbs up impression.

It is powered by 1.3GHz Mediatek (MT 6753) Octa-Core Processor clubbed with 3GB DDR3 RAM. The stylish phone houses a 13MP AF rear camera (Flash enabled) with 5P lens & Blue Optical Filter while there is a 5MP front camera. It has all possible sources of connectivity and packs a  2900mAh battery claiming 275 hours of standby time and 10 hours of talk time.

Mcromax A116 Canvas HD: The phone is one of the best phones from the brand and has a 5-inch IPS screen that offers a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by the MediaTek MT6589 quad-core SoC and runs at 1.2GHz and a PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU.

The phone sports an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 2 megapixel front camera and therefore is the best in terms of photography. Its capability of recording high definition videos at thirty frames per second makes it the best choice.

Micromax A110- Canvas 2: It is a decent upgrade of the A100 and has a 5-inch 262k colour capacitive touch screen with an IPS panel sporting a resolution of 480x854 pixels. The phone offers good quality as it does not creak at any of the edges. Internally, it has a 1GHz Dual-Core processor and runs an Android v0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS.

Micromax A72 Canvas Viva: The budget phone has a 5-inch (480 x 800 Pixels) display and runs on the dated Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It is powered by 1GHz processor along with 256MB of RAM and include a 3-megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera, 2,000mAh battery, 2G (EDGE support) and 110 MB of internal storage.

The memory is expandable up to 16GB with microSD card thus pricing the phablet at Rs. 6,999 on Flipkart.
