New Delhi:

Make in India! Yes; make out in India! No, never

They say being 'sanskari' is the best way to be in India, who knew one day James Bond will have to face the fact.

As per latest reports James Bond has been given ticket to India for Spectre with nothing less than four cuts including slashes on the kissing scenes between Mr Bond and his girls, considering the length of the pecks "too excessive.

With Bond managing to stay ‘sanskari’ with one of his passionate films, Censor board credited U/A certificate to the movie.

The kissing content has been reduced from the film to keep the film available under the criteria of screening in theaters and as well as small screens.

"We have to be careful with films that get U/A certificate because they can be shown on TV and to all audiences following parental guidance. The producers have accepted the cuts," TOI quoted a source.

Disapproval was inevitable and board member Ashoke Pandit came first to speak against it. He called it a mockery of the freedom of a filmmaker.

"Pahlaj Nihalani has always functioned on his own accord and I don't subscribe to his curtailing of creative rights.... Spectre is an internationally applauded film, but again Pahalaj Nihalani messes it up by shading it with his own thought process. Nihalani's action should not be a reflection of my choices. I feel it's a mockery of the freedom of a filmmaker...Nihalani as chairman of the censor Board can't behave like an official spokesperson of a political party," he tweeted.

Directed by Sam Mendes, the film also stars Christopher Waltz and Naomi Harris.
