The best time of the year to travel Goa is between the months of November and March the weather is dry and relatively cool, the sea is calm and clear.

Although the Goa ‘scene’ has slowed, some big music festivals are now regular fixtures at this time of year, the weekly flea and night markets of Goa are the best lure.

Goans, whether Christian, Hindu or Muslim, embrace Christmas, festooning everything with tinsel. In terms of crowd, it remains the busiest time of the year. The best Goa beach resorts get booked up early so be quick to book your destination too.

Goan food falls into the rich tradition of the Konkan coast, Konkan Hindu and Goan Catholic have their distinct dishes.

Here is a list of 5 best restaurants and street foods in Goa:

This is where you will find Pousada, refined Goan food on beach. Beef and prawn dishes are uniformly exceptional, and the vegetable caldin (stew) is a delight.

Noronha’s Corner, Anjuna
