New Delhi:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in India after wrapping up his four-day visit to Malaysia and Singapore. He signed several agreements to boost trade ties and attract investments to India.

“From Strategic Partnerships to Invest’s & the Indian Comm’y, another action packed visit ends. PM emplanes for Delhi,”  Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.


In Malaysia, Modi addressed two powerful regional blocs at the ASEAN-India and East Asia summits, besides holding talks with Prime Minister Najib Razak and some other world leaders, including his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang and Japanese Premier Shinzo Abe.

During his Singapore visit, Prime Minister Modi met his counterpart Lee Hsien Loong, President Tony Tan Keng Yam and Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong and the two countries signed an agreement to elevate their relations to strategic partnership.

Before winding up his two-day maiden visit to Singapore, Modi also addresed Indian diaspora.
