The election has become a battle of prestige for the BJP who is ruling the state for the last 22 years. The party is leaving no stones unturned to beat the anti-incumbency and woo their voters.
Party Vice President Rahul Gandhi is doing all out efforts to turn the tide by focusing on the grass root issues like farmers and jobs in the state.

Question no. 5: Which leader's election campaign had the major impact on the voters?
# Narendra Modi still keeps his presence felt in the hearts of the voters. 56 per cent voters said they were impressed by Modi's election campaign.
# Despite his aggressive speeches and witty comments, Rahul Gandhi failed to impress voters with his election campaign and only 8 per cent voters felt he was impactfull.
# Hardik Patel also failed to make any big impact and only 4 per cent people found his election campaign impressive.
# 16 per cent people liked other leader's campaign while the equal number of people could not say anything.
Question no. 4: What will be the impact of GST-Noteban?
# 20 per cent people could not say anything.
# 47 per cent people said the issue of GST and Noteban will not impact the election anyway.
# 13 per cent people said it will harm the BJP in Gujarat polls while 20 per cent said it would rather benefite the party.
Question no. 3: How Patidar reservation issue will impact the election?
# 27 per cent people think the Patidar movemnet led by Hardik Patel will harm BJP in the assembly elections.
# 11 per cent people thinks the issue could rather help BJP in the elections.
# 44 per cent people said the issue of Patidar reservation will not affect the elections at all.
# 18 per cent people could not say anything.
Question no. 2: Who will be the ideal candidate for the post of Gujarat Chief Minister?
# Vijay Rupani was still the favourite CM candidate and 51 per cent people felt he would be the ideal candidate for Chief Minister's post.
# Bharat Singh Solanki could not impress people at large and only 9 per cent people thought he would be the ideal candidate for CM's post.
# 31 per cent people didn't like both Rupani and Solanki and they felt some one else could be the ideal candidate for Gujarat CM's post.
# 18 per cent people could not say anything on this.
Question no. 1: While voting in the Gujarat assembly elections 2017, what will be the biggest issue for you?
# A big 21 per cent people could not make up their mind on what issues they will vote.
# 7 per cent people said they will vote on the issue of inflation, 4 per cent on unemployment, 2 per cent on bullet train.
# Rahul Gandhi failed to make farmers problem an election issue, and only 2 per cent people said they will vote on issues related to farmers and agriculture.
# Narmada Dam will also be the issue among voters. 7 percent people said they will vote on the Narmada Dam issue.
# Only two percent people will vote on the corruption issue.
# 4 Percent people will vote for the Chief Ministerial candidate.
# 4 per cent people will vote on the demonetisation issue while 7 per cent will caste thier vote on the Patidar issue.
# 31 per cent people say they will vote on development, 9 per cent people say they will vote on GST.
# 182 reporters went out to people on ground in all 182 constituencies of Gujarat and asked them several questions.
