Senior BJP leader and Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel on Wednesday hit back at Patidar leader Hardik Patel, saying that the latter is speaking the language of Congress .

Nitin said Hardik Patel’s motive was to back struggling Congress in the state and his campaign in the name of reservations to Patidars was a part of it.

He said Congress has been completely exposed before the Assembly elections.

The deputy chief minister said Hardik Patel was speaking like a spiritual guru in his press conference.

Patel said Congress and Hardik Patel described others as imprudent but people know the veracity.

Earlier in the day, Hardik Patel said Congress party has accepted their demands for reservations to Patidars.

While talking to reporters, Hardik said, "Congress has agreed to give Patidars reservations under section 31 and provisions of section 46.”
