Honda Motorcycles launches Activa fifth-gen in India for Rs 52,460

Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) launched the fifth-generation Activa 5G automatic scooter in the Indian market on Wednesday. The popular scooter, Activa’s revamped version was unveiled at the 14th edition of the Auto Expo by the company in Greater Noida.

The scooter has been priced according to two variants, the Activa 5G Deluxe has been priced at Rs 54,325, while the Activa 5G Standard has been priced at Rs 52,460, both for an ex-showroom price.

With a range of colour options to choose from, the fifth-gen Activa will be available in wight paint options, Dazzle Yellow Metallic, Majestic Brown Metallic, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Black, Matte Selene Silver Metallic, Pearl Amazing White, Pearl Spartan Red, and Trance Blue Metallic.

The new Activa 5G comes with LED headlamps along with position lights, along with integrated daylight running lamps. The deluxe model has been added with a new digital analogue meter.

The new Honda Activa 5G is powered by a BS-IV based 109.12cc displacement, four strokes, and a fan-cooled engine, which produces a maximum power of 8bhp at 7500 rpm with a peak torque at 5500 rpm.

The Activa fifth-gen is mated to a V-Matic, five-speed transmission, and as per the company, promises to deliver 60+ kmpl with a 5.3-litre of fuel tank capacity. The scooter bears 18 litres of storage space under the hood and comes with Combined Braking System (CBS) with 130mm wide drum brakes at the rear.

The scooter possesses 10-inch wheels with 90/100 tubeless tyres.
