Two-wheeler super-sport bike company, KTM, introduced its street super-sport RC 390 R, which is the successor of the RC 390. The homologated, limited edition bike comes with an SSP300 Race Kit.
Limited to just 500 units, the new version builds on the original RC 390, but with a series of hardware upgrades and extreme track riding use.
A fully adjustable WP suspension at the front and the back comes in the new model, which will provide the levels of adjustment according to the rider as well as the riding conditions.
A new top yoke and handlebar kit allow extreme racing handlebar position to the rider. With an addition CNC milled, foldable brake and clutch levelers, the KTM RC 390 R provides increased feedback at fingers and is designed to flick-up in the case of a spill.

A shorter intake trumpet to increase overall efficiency in race conditions and to create an engine with slightly wider power band come as other new changes.
The KTM RC 390 R is priced at 8,500 euros, which make it cost approximately Rs 6,70,000 in India.
Along with the RC 390 R, the company also launched a new SSP300 Race Kit. The kit is limited to just 50 units per year, contains more than 230 individual bike parts, and is specifically made for the new RC 390 R model.
The kit contains everything which is needed for a rider, including a full titanium Akropovic SSP300 EVO02 system with race ECU, STM slipper clutch, quick shifter, wiring harness, spare wheels, a huge selection of gearing options, increased cooling system and a full bodywork kit made from lightweight and strong materials, among other detailed parts.
The cost of the kit is estimated to be 11,000 euros (approx. 8,60,000) and is not compatible with existing RC models of the company.
