New Delhi:

TVS Motor Company launched their new flagship scooter TVS NTorq 125 in the Indian market on Tuesday. The scooter is based on the NTorq concept vehicle which was unveiled back in Auto Expo 2016.

Priced at Rs 58,750, the company targets the scooter to an audience with age between 18-24 with technologically stylish and happening.

The company has introduced the SmartXonnect, a Bluetooth-enabled connected technology system which can be accessed by the NTorq mobile app for Android smartphones. This is the first scooter with such technology of the TVS company.

Powered by a 124.79 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 3-valve, air-cooled SOHC engine, the engine churns out about 9.3 bhp at 7,500 rpm and develops a peak torque of 10.5 Nm. The scooter gives a top speed of 95 kmph, along with being mated to an automatic transmission.

The NTorq comes with added features like navigation assist, top-speed recorder, in-built lap-timer, service reminder, trip meter, engine oil temperature, and multi-ride statistic modes like street and sport. Connecting with your phone, the scooter will show battery strength display, last parked location assist, and many more.

The scooter will be available in four colour variants with a stylish headlamp cluster, LED taillamp, and diamond-cut alloy wheels. Among all this, the engine comes with kill switch, petrol disk brake for the front wheel, and more.
