Auto Expo 2018: DC Design set to launch new concept sportscar TCA

Concept car designer Dillip Chhabria (DC) Design is all set to launch a new sports car in the upcoming edition of Auto Expo 2018.

Sources confirmed that the company has been working on all-new Concept Car named TCA. The TCA stands for Titanium, Carbon Fibre and Aluminium, which hint the materials used in making the brand new sports car.

The DC Design pavilion at the Auto Expo attracts many eyes every year. Car enthusiasts eagerly wait for new DC cars to be launched. One such automobile of the company is the DC Avanti.

The sources further state that the new DC TCA Sports car will be strongly based on the Avanti platform itself, but will be a bit lighter and wider than the Avanti.

The teaser image of the car shows the smooth and sportier body of the automobile with fewer shut lines than on the DC Avanti.

The car is said to be driven by a 4.0-litre V8 engine which will shed a power of over 400hp. Also, the company might add a 7-speed torque converter automatic gearbox to the TCA. It is said that the car will go from 0-100 in less than 7 seconds.

Launched at the Auto Expo 2018, the TCA is said to be priced around Rs 45 lakh.
