German luxury carmaker BMW has rolls out its first BMW 6 series from its Chennai plant. Adding one more to the line-up of cars, BMW 6 series Gran Turismo will be 9th car from the car.
BMW India already produces 3 Series, 3 Series Gran Turismo, 5 Series, 7 Series, X1, X3 and X5. The BMW 6 Series was recently launched in Auto Expo 2018 and now the petrol variant rolled out in India.
The diesel variant of BMW 630i Gran Turismo Sports Line will be launched later today.
Dr. Jochen Stallkamp, Managing Director, BMW Group Plant Chennai said, "BMW Group Plant Chennai is proud to roll-out the first-ever BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo in India. The BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo is not only a unique concept but also makes a significant mark through its advanced engineering, technology and innovations’’.

BMW 630i GT comes with a 2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine which can produce power of 258 horsepower and torque of 400Nm at 1,550-4,400 rpm.
The 8-speed Steptronic Sport Automatic Transmission car reach 0-100 in just 6.3 seconds.
BMW has priced BMW 630i Gran Turismo at Rs 58.9 lakh(ex-showroom Delhi)
Talking about the inside of the car, BMW 630i GT boasts 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment System, Apple Car play, Park Distance Control, BMW Apps, BMW iDrive and much more. On the back side, it has two 10.2-inch touchscreen BluRay player with HDMI connection for mobiles.            Â
