Jaguar has launched F-Type SVR in India at a price of Rs. 2.45 crore (ex-showroom price) for the Coupe while the Convertible has been priced at Rs. 2.63 crore (ex-showroom). With this, the automobile company has expanded its popular F-type range in the country.
The Jaguar F-Type SVR is being made by the manufacturer's Special Vehicle Operations division. One can easily say what AMG is for Mercedes-Benz, the same is Special Vehicle Operations division for the Brtish luxury car maker.
The best part about both these model is that they are well equipped with many features like lightweight titanium and Inconel exhaust which has helped reduce the weight of the car by 16 kg.
The list of features doesn't end here. The vehicle is also equipped with lightweight material for easy suspension and carbon ceramic brakes which have further decreased the overall weight of the vehicle.
The Jaguar F-Type SVR is also decked with SVR performance seats, carbon fibre and rear aerodynamic wing. It also has heated leather steering wheel which has aluminium gearshift paddles.
The F-Type SVR coupe can speed up to 100kph in 3.7 seconds as claimed by the makers. It is said to have a top speed of 322kmph. The vehicle weighs 1705 kg and is lighter than the convertible model which weighs 1720 kg.
Jaguar has launched the most compelling model of its flagship sports car in India. It is powered by a 5.0-litre V8 supercharged engine and develops 575 horse power at 6,500 rpm.
