German carmaker Volkswagen has slashed the price of Polo GTi by Rs 6 lakh, which means the vehicle will now cost Rs 19.99 lakh. Polo GTI was launched in 2016 in India at a price of Rs 25.99 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
According to the report in Team-BHP, now dealerships have reduced the price of the powerful hatchback and it's available at a price of Rs 19.99 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
During the initial phase, Volkswagen offered only 99 units of the Polo GTI for the first batch of deliveries. Polo GTI has a 1.8-litre turbocharged petrol engine from the Octavia churning out 189bhp of power and 250Nm of torque.
The car can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 7.2 seconds. On the front, the Polo GTI gets full LED headlamps with red inserts to add to the go-faster appeal, GTI honeycomb grille and GTI signature red colour stripes.
