Mukesh Ambani owned Reliance Jio's strategy to provide internet data and unlimited calls virtually free of cost has lead to fellow telecom operators revamping their pricing strategies to keep their customer base intact and avoid a further dent in their market share.
The latest to join the bandwagon is Anil Ambani’s Reliance Communications which has come up with a lucrative offer for its customers through the all-new Rs 299 rental plan. RCom has announced its all-new Rs 299 rental plan offering unlimited calls, texts, and data to its subscribers. RCom in a tweet said, "Reliance Mobile introduces the lowest rates ever! Starting at Rs 299 monthly rental."Last week RCom came up with a new offer at Rs 5199 for the whole year. Under the new offer users can avail 1GB 4G data per day for a year.
This new deal comprises a bundle offer by RCom – that includes a Reliance 4G data card and a Reliance 4G SIM. Additionally, customers can also get a Wi-Fi dongle “Wi-Pod” worth Rs 3,200 under the bundled offer for free. This also comes with 365 days of validity.
