Bengaluru:

Karnataka is going to polls in 2018 and Congress, BJP, and JDS have already begun their preparations for the elections. Not to lag behind, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is all set to announce its decision to contest the state elections. 

National spokesperson of AAP Sanjay Singh has said, "Members of Karnataka Wing of Aam Aadmi Party want to contest elections and have submitted a detailed report and this report will be discussed in PAC. PAC will take the final decision".

Two senior national leaders of AAP Sanjay Singh and Pankaj Kumar Gupta landed in Bengaluru on Thursday to gauge the mood of party members in the state. Both the leaders held several meetings with party workers and senior party leaders of AAP Karnataka.

Prithvi Reddy, the senior most leader of AAP Karnataka said, "Our workers have been working day and night across the state for the benefit of the people. Since BJP, Congress and JDS all looted the money, our workers are ready to fight them in the election to protect the state from corruption".

In the last Lok Sabha elections, Aam Aadmi Party contested from all the seats of Karnataka but failed to win a single seat. This time party workers are confident of not only denting the votes of Congress, BJP and JDS in the state but making an entry into the Karnataka assembly.
