The visuals that you are watching are not from any action movie but have been recorded on the streets of IT City Bengaluru. These videos were shot at Bengaluru East Division where several youngsters were performing wheelie and other stunts on their bikes and scooters right in the middle of the road even as heavy vehicles were passing by.
These stunt performing youngsters are underage and not only playing with their own lives but also putting the lives of others at grave risks.
Now, Bengaluru Traffic Police has sprung into action and launched a crackdown on these stunt bikers detaining five minors and arresting five others against whose names these two-wheelers are registered.
The minors have been sent to a state-run facility.
The city police are going to take strict action against the mechanics who modify the bikes and two-wheelers.
Bengaluru has witnessed many accidents due to stunts like wheelie in which one youngster lost his life but the menace went on unabated.
Wheelie is a manoeuvre in which a wheeled vehicle is momentarily balanced on its rear wheel or wheels.
