Asha would never have imagined in her wildest of dreams what price she would have to pay for borrowing money from a local BJP leader.

Asha, who is the owner of a private school and herself teaches there, had a few months back taken Rs 70 thousand from Ramakrishnappa, a local BJP leader, as a loan on interest.

She could not pay the interest amount for this month and this infuriated Ramakrishnappa. He went to her school on Monday and after picking up an argument he physically assaulted her which was captured on the CCTV camera.

On Tuesday morning Asha filed a police complaint against Ramakrishnappa at Rajankunte Police Station of Bengaluru Rural District.

Further details are awaited.
