Meerut:

Two youths were killed and four others were injured in a violent clash between two groups over a land dispute in Ghosipur village on Friday, said police.

According to SSP J Ravinder, the clash took place late night between the groups where firearms were used.

The injured youths were admitted to a hospital where they died during treatment, he said.

Eight persons have been arrested in the incident, he said. Security has been tightened in the area, police added.

It is to be noted that polling for phase 1 in Western Uttar Pradesh is underway on Saturday.
