In a fresh trouble for Aam Aadmi Party, its MLA from Delhi Cantonment Surender ‘Commando’ was taken into custody for repeatedly not appearing in a case related to defacement of public property in 2014.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Ashu Garg on Saturday ordered police to take Commando in the custody when he appeared before the court.

Despite the court’s directions, he was not appearing before the court for the last few occasions despite orders.

The case relates to defacement of public property in Naraina area in south west Delhi, allegedly by putting up posters and hoardings.
