New Delhi:
Dowry scare may return to haunt Uttar Pradesh as a woman was killed allegedly by her husband and in-laws for want of dowry in Firozabad’s Fariha area, police said on Tuesday.
The woman identified as 18-year-old Poonam was poisoned to death on Monday allegedly by her husband and in-laws, police told PTI.

Following the complaint of the victim’s parents, an FIR has been registered against her husband Biri Singh and four others, police said.
A probe into the matter has been ordered and the body sent for postmortem, the police added.
