The Bihar BSEB Class 10th Results 2017 has been announced at the official website of Bihar board. Prem Kumar secures first rank with total 465 marks.
This year the pass percentage has been raised from 44.60 per cent to 50.12 per cent.
This year 13.91% have passed first division, 26.88% have passed second division, 9.32% have passed third division, Overall pass percentage is 50.12%
The examination was held between March 1 and 8 and an estimated 16.5 lakh students appeared.
However, BSEB will grant eight marks to students who fail in one subject and four in each subject if the student fails in two subjects. Last year around 75.15% students were declared qualified in the BSEB Class 10th examination. While 76.08 percent girls cleared the examination, the passing percentage for boys was 72.88 percent.
