New Delhi:

As students anxiously wait for their CBSE class 12 board results, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to declare the results between May 24 and 27, sources have said.

The board doesn’t want to delay the results so that the admissions of students to colleges and universities happen on time. A senior official has said that results won’t be delayed beyond May 27.

“The Class 12 exam results are likely to be declared by May 25. The CBSE is trying its best to ensure that students don’t face any problems. Even if there is any delay due to unforeseen reasons, rest assured that the results won’t be delayed beyond May 27,” a senior official said.

According to sources, the grace marks awarded to students, if any, would be published in the marksheets.

A total of 10,98,891 appeared for the CBSE Class 12 Board exams 2017, which witnessed a delay of more than a week because of the recently concluded assembly elections. The exam was postponed to March 9.

Despite the postponement of the exams, CBSE officials had said that the board will declare the results on time. Usually, the CBSE Class 12 Board exams begin on March 1 and results are announced by the third week of May.

Over 18,000 schools in the country are affiliated to the CBSE.

Steps to check CBSE Class 12th results 2017:

1. Go to the official website- cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in. 

2. Click on Exam Results

3. Click on the CBSE Class 12th results

4. Enter roll number

5. Download your CBSE 12th result 2017 result and take a print out of the same for future
