Former Bigg Boss 10 contestant Mona Lisa, who recently got evicted from the show, has opened up on her wedding inside the BB house.
The Bhojpuri actress got married to her long-term beau Vikrant Singh Rajpoot on the national television.
While the wedding episode got a huge TRP hike for the makers, there were reports that the couple was paid a hefty amount to get hitched on Bigg Boss 10.
However, Mona's has vehemently quashed the reports of getting paid for the wedding, saying that there is no point she would take money for her D-Day.
"It's sad that people think like that. It's the best day of my life, why should I take money for that. People making fun like this is not good. Vikrant and I know each other for eight years and were planning to get married anyway. He decided everything in consultation with my parents and I am very happy to have got married on TV, with the whole country witnessing it," Mona told a leading daily.

Interestingly, Mona is not the first contestant who got married inside the BB house.
Earlier, Sara Ali Khan and Ali Merchant too had tied the knot on the reality show. However, soon after the couple got evicted, it was revealed that their wedding was a trick to rake up the TRPs and that both were paid a whopping amount for doing so.
Having said that many even speculate that Mona too will call it quits with Vikrant soon. In fact, ace filmmaker Karan Johar, during his appearance on Bigg Boss 10, even stated he will sign a film deal with the Bhojpuri actress, which will last longer than her marriage.
To this Mona replied, "I haven't seen the show, but if he has said that I am happy, because it means the deal will last for years and years. I know that my marriage will be long lasting."
Well, Mona's befitting response has indeed shun away all the reports regaring her wedding being staged on Bigg Boss 10.
