Akash Dadlani's journey on Bigg Boss 11 recently came to an end after he was eliminated from the show on Wednesday. He was evicted as a part of mid-week elimination segment from BB11 which will be having its grand finale this week.
While it was quite a shocking moment for Akash or A-Cash, as he prefers being called, he said that he is happy to have made it this far on Bigg Boss 11.
Dadlani was considered to be one the most entertaining and weird contestants on BB11, who was seen doing the most unexpected stuff in the house.
However, post his elimination, Akash has revealed that he is quite different from what he portrayed on the show. He further said that his tactics were just to generate TRPs and remain in the spotlight.

“I was doing everything for the show, trust me. In real life, I am totally different from what I was inside the [Bigg Boss] house. I am from America and I scored 90 per cent in Psychology [in college], so obviously, I knew how to generate reaction and stay in spotlight. Also, I wanted to make sure that I could give content to Bigg Boss. It’s the best show ever and I wanted to make sure that it keeps on getting good TRPs,†Akash was quoted saying to HT.
Akash further added, "Well, along with doing what is right, I admit that I also made mistakes. And that might be the reason behind it [calling me mad]. But they all loved me, too. Being an emotional guy, I did not want to hurt anyone and enjoyed being with everyone.â€
Interestingly, Akash had often created a buzz for his tiffs with housemate Shilpa Shinde. In fact, the two were even seen getting in some nasty fights in the finale week.
“The first 10 weeks were good. We [Shilpa and I] shared a mother-son relationship, and used to hug, kiss and joke all the time. But, somewhere down the line, she became uncomfortable, however, things are fine now. I am really close to her and Puneesh [Sharma],†said Akash.
Dadlani further stated that he even apologised to Shinde before coming out of the house and that now the two are on good terms.
On being quizzed about who has the maximum chance of winning Bigg Boss 11, Akash said that although he wants Puneesh Sharma to take home the winner's trophy but it is Vikas Gupta who has a bright chance to be the winner of show as he has played the game really well.
On a related note, post Akash Dadlani's elimination, it is going to be a tough fight between Hina Khan, Shilpa Shinde, Puneesh Sharma and Akash Dadlani on Bigg Boss 11.
Only time will reveal who will be the winner of this popular reality show which is being hosted by Salman Khan.
