Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has confirmed the news of him suffering from swine flu. The superstar, who was supposed to attend the Satyamev Jayate Water Cup Awards, revealed the news of his ill health during a video conference.
Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan too was present at the video.
“We are very sad to inform you that after working so hard for a year, when the time came for us to celebrate, this illness, which spreads rapidly, has forced us to stay at home for a week,†Aamir said in the video.

On the other hand, his spokesperson was quoted saying in Indian Express that not just Aamir but his wife Kiran too is suffering from the same disease.
“Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao both are suffering from swine flu. Aamir informed through video conferencing. Also he regretted the fact that he can’t attend the function for which he was very excited,†spokesperson added.
Reportedly, several cases of swine flu have been reported in Maharashtra lately.
On the work front, Aamir Khan is busy working on his upcoming movie 'Thugs of Hindostan', a YRF production which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh in key roles. Besides, he will also be seen in Advait Chandan's directorial 'Secret Superstar' which also stars Zaira Wasim in the lead.
