The Bachchan couple has doesn't shy away from expressing their feelings for each other.
And as Abhishek and Aishwarya celebrate their 11th wedding anniversary on April 20, an old interview of the Guru actor has gone viral on the internet where he has revealed the real reason for marrying the blue-eyed beauty.
"I married her for the human being that she is, not because she is the most successful actor we have or she is the international face of the Indian cinema because she is one of the most beautiful women. No, it's not. At the end of the day, when you come back home from a hard day at work, you go to bed and you have to face certain realities about how the person is like. These faces that we have come off at night without makeup. I married her for that person," Abhishek was quoted as saying.
Interestingly, Abhishek Bachchan has been one of the most romantic husbands in the industry.
Amitabh Bachchan's son has not just admitted being smitten by Aishwarya but also make sure to make his lady love feel special.
In fact, he even went out for the most romantic way to propose Aish.
"I was filming in New York for a movie. And, I used to stand on the balcony of my hotel room and wish that, 'One day, wouldn't it be nice if I was together with her, married. Years later, we were there for the premiere of Guru. After the premiere, we were back in the hotel. So, I took her to the very same balcony, and I asked her to marry me," he said.
Isn't that quite romantic?
The couple has been going strong with their relationship with every passing day and is now the proud parents of six-year-old daughter Aradhya.
