Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar who has joined a million of Indian hearts to cheer and encourage the Mithali Raj brigade during Women's Cricket World Cup final on Sunday, has ended up being trolled on social networking sites. In order to motivate the team, the 'Rustom' star on Sunday posted a tweet which contained one of his latest pictures with a tri-colour from the Lord's cricket ground in London.

In the picture Akshay has been seen waving the indian tri-colour flag upside down while cheering the team up. As soon as the picture hit the micro-blogging site, Twitterati jumped at him and started mocking at the star. Trolling the National Award Winning actor several individuals have begun to post a series of tweets full of sarcasm and satire.

However, after taking a note of the same Akshay has already removed the said picture from his account and apologised for the act.
Apologising to billions of Indians the actor wrote, "Extending my sincerest apology for violating the code of conduct for the tricolor. Didn't mean to offend anyone,the picture has been removed."

Akshay who is at present in London for a couple of weeks and shooting his upcoming flim 'Gold', has also posted several other tweets before and after reaching the ground.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar who will be next seen in Bhumi Pednekar starrer 'Toilet Ek Prem katha', has also bagged several other projects like 'Padman', '2.0', 'Five', 'Mogul', 'Crack' and others.

While 'Toilet Ek Prem katha' is slated to relaese on August 11, starring Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte too in the lead, 'Padman' is expected to hit the screens in 2018. 'Pink' star Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen giving a special appearance in the flick.
