Ludhiana:

Shah Rukh Khan today strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack on Amarnath pilgrims by calling it "most unfortunate".

Terrorists killed seven Amarnath pilgrims, including six women, and injured 19 others as they struck at a bus in Kashmirs Anantnag district, in the worst attack on the annual pilgrimage since the year 2001.

"Such kind of attacks will not lessen the religious belief of followers, but further strengthen it. Such incidents are highly condemnable," the actor told reporters here.

Shah Rukh was in Punjab to shoot a song for his upcoming film "Jab Harry Met Sejal".

The film, to be released on August 4, also features Anushka Sharma.
