One of the biggest stars in Bollywood decided to have a makeshift change in his career when he opted for a reality game show on the small screen. And ever since then, we have seen numerous other actors trying their luck on TV but successing a few, no one could ever achieve what Big B did with ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. Here's why we feel he revolutionised the small screen.
When Amitabh Bachchan began hosting ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, nobody knew that the reality game show would turn-out to be a game-changer.
The show not only revolutionized television viewing but also changed the fortunes of the channel on which the game show was aired.
Currently, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ is aired on Sony TV.
In one of the season of the show, Shah Rukh Khan was brought as a replacement in the third season due to Amitabh’s bad health conditions. But, the season failed to impress audience and didn’t performed well in the ratings.
Later on, Amitabh returned in the fourth season and since then, the show is at the top of the rating charts.
Apart from ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, the ‘Pink’ star has also hosted the third season of ‘Bigg Boss’, ‘Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi’s and ‘Yudh’.
