Anushka Sharma starrer Pari was one of the most awaited movies of the year all thanks to it supernatural content and the promotional strategy. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the movie ever since the first trailer was released.
This is Anushka’s third flick under her home banner Clean Slate Films after NH-10 and Phillauri.
The horror flick hit the silver screens on March 2 and minted Rs 4.36 crore on the very first day. The movie which also stars Rajat Kapoor, Ritabhari Chakraborty and Parambrata Chatterjee witnessed growth on Saturday and collected Rs 5.47 crore.
Pari has raked in good moolah at the box office and collected Rs 9.83 crore within the first two days. Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the collection of the flick on Twitter.

Trade pundits were expecting Pari to do better considering it’s Anushka Sharma’s first movie after her marriage. It is expected that positive word of mouth publicity will help the movie to perform in the upcoming movies.
The movie received scathing reviews from the critics but Anushka was applauded for her performance and also for trying something new.
Interestingly, the ‘Sultan’ actress is not playing the role of a ghost for the first time. The diva played a friendly ghost in the fantasy comedy ‘Phillauri’.
