Arms Act case: Appeal against Salman Khan's acquittal to be heard on July 6

Rajasthan Government Had Filed The Appeal In The Sessions Court Challenging The Acquittal On March 7, Following Which The Sessions Court Had Issued Notice To Khan.

Jodhpur:

Salman Khan had been acquitted by the trial court in a case against him for alleged possession and use of arms after expiry of its licence. Under the Arms Act, arguments on the appeal filed by the Rajasthan government against him shall begin on July 6.

In response to a notice issued by sessions judge Bhagwan Das Agarwal on March 7, counsels of Khan appeared in the court on Friday and submitted 'vakalatnama' (authorisation letter).

After accepting the documents, Agarwal listed the matter for arguments on July 6.

The state government had filed the appeal in the sessions court challenging the acquittal on March 7, following which the sessions court had issued notice to Khan.
