New Delhi:

Aamir Khan has sent a cheque of Rs 25 lakh to Chief Minister’s relief fund to help families battling due to floods in Bihar.

Khan has sent the cheque through a post on behalf of his company Aamir Khan Production Private Limited, an official said. The cheque was received by CM office on Wednesday.

At least 514 people have lost their life till now due to massive floods in Bihar.

Meanwhile, funds kept pouring in for flood relief from different quarters. Madhya Pradesh Cooperative Minister Vishwas Sarang handed over a cheque of Rs 5 crore on behalf of the Shivraj Singh Chauhan government to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Former Bihar chief minister and president of Hindustani Awam Morcha Jitan Ram Manjhi gave a cheque of Rs 1.10 lakh to Nitish Kumar and another cheque of Rs 2 lakh on behalf of his party, which is a BJP ally.
