The sudden demise of Bollywood’s first female superstar Sridevi left a void in the industry. The Sadma actress left for her heavenly abode on February 24, and the film fraternity is yet to come to terms with the huge loss.
Filmmaker and Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor is reportedly planning to make a documentary on the late actress’ life.
According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, the Judaai producer has registered three titles-Sri, Sridevi and Sri Ma’am with the movie registration department.
“Boneyji is serious about making a film on Srideviji and hence he has registered these titles. He is also keen to acquire other films that she has worked in and has registered the titles of those films too. Films like Chaalbaaz, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Jaanbaaz, Mr India and even titles like Return of Mr India have been registered by Boneyji recently’’, a source told the leading daily.
Boney Kapoor penned an emotional post for his 'Jaan' (he fondly called Sridevi by the same name) after her demise in Dubai. The Mr India producer wrote,’’ To the world she was their Chandni...but to me she was my love, my friend, mother to our girls...my partner," he wrote, adding that with her loss was inexplicable in words.’’
Sridevi had a star-studded career with over 300 films to her credit. Though our Hawa Hawai is no more with us, but she will continue to stay alive in our memories.
