Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's love life has always been a hot topic of discussion and so have been the reports of their much-awaited engagement.
Lately, it was reported that the couple got engaged on Deepika's birthday early this month in Maldives in the presence of their respective parents.
Indeed, everyone was waiting for an official announcement by the couple. However, much contrary to the reports, Deepika stated that she hasn't got engaged yet and it isn't on the cards as well.
Deepika made the statement during a chat show with Neha Dhupia where she had appeared with sister Anisha.
During the show, Neha straightaway asked the 'Bajirao Mastani' actress about her engagement with Beau Ranveer Singh, to which Deepika said, “I was not engaged.â€
Soon, Neha asked to show Deepika about the tan on her ring finger and she exclaimed, "Okay guys, there is a tan line".
However, sister Anisha came to her rescue and told Neha, "Also, she has been engaged successively for the last four years."Â
The three ladies were seen sharing a hearty laugh over this.
But Deepika did conclude saying, “There's no such plan anytime soon. I'm not pregnant, I'm not having a baby, I'm not engaged and I'm not married. And I'm not even planning to get married anytime soon.â€
The promo of the chat show even saw Deepika saying that Ranveer is the best kisser in the business.
Well, looks like Padukone is quite comfortable talking about Ranveer Singh.
Notably, the couple have been dating each other for a while and their off and on screen chemistry has been giving major relationship goals.
On the work front, Deepika and Ranveer will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's much controversial movie Padmaavat which also features Shahid Kapoor in the lead. The movie is scheduled to hit the screens on January 25.Â
