Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna have been one of the most perfect couples of tinselvile. The couple is often seen giving serious relationship goals to people. In their 17 years of wedding, the couple has come a long way together and have often seen being a pillar of strength for each other. But not many people are aware of the fact that Twinkle's mother Dimple Kapadia wasn't in favour of the diva's wedding with 'Khiladi' Kumar.
Yes! It's true.
During her debut appearance on Karan Johar's popular chat show 'Koffee With Karan', Twinkle revealed that Dimple had warned of her about dating Akshay thinking that the actor is a gay.

Twinkle stated that when Akshay came at her residence for the first time to meet Dimple, she told Twinkle, "I have to tell you something after he goes. Your friend, who's doing some piece on gay newspaper, says that Akshay is gay."
But destiny had already set its game straight and Twinkle-Akshay got hitched in 2001. The couple are even the proud parents of a son and daughter.
Currently, Akshay Kumar is busy promoting his upcoming movie 'Toilet: EK Prem Katha' opposite Bhumi Pednekar. Besides, he is also working with wife Twinkle on her production 'Padman'.
