After receiving accolades for her role in Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all geared up for her upcoming release Fanne Khan.
The makers of the film shared the first look of the diva through official Twitter handle and captioned it, "There are divas and then there is #AishwaryaRaiBachchan.. our shining star! #FanneKhan’’.
In the picture, Aishwarya can be seen wearing military jacket on a black top. Her redhead look is accessorised with a handbag and stylish sunglasses.
If sources are to believed, the actress is playing the role of a singer in the movie. ‘Fanne Khan’ also features Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in significant roles.
Fanne Khan is a remake of a Dutch flick ‘Everybody’s Famous’ and the movie was also nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film in the year 2001.
In the movie, Rajkummar is paired opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who is 10 years elder than him.
A source said, “Should the age difference not be mentioned at all? In real life as well as in films, there are so many pairs where the woman is older than the man. At the same time, the audience will notice and wonder about the age difference. So, we will add a few lines justifying the age difference, though Aishwarya and Raj are very well-matched’’.
Helmed by Atul Manjrekar, the movie will be a reunion of Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan after a long gap of 20 years since ‘Taal’.
