Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali is all praise for superstar Shah Rukh Khan, with whom he has collaborated for his upcoming movie 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' and said that it was really easy to work with the actor as he never brought his stardom to the set while working.
"Working with him was like working with any other actor. You realised he is a big star only when you see the crowd around the sets. Otherwise, the way he carries himself and participates in a film, you don't get the feel that he is a star," Imtiaz told reporters here at the trailer launch of the movie.
Imtiaz, who has worked with SRK for the first time, further asserted that King Khan is a kind of actor for whom the story and team is what matters the most. Besides, since both of them belongs to the theatre background, it was easy for them to communicate while shooting for JHMS.
"We both are from theatre background so it was easy to communicate with Shah Rukh. It was easy to work with him. He is a basic theatre actor for whom the story and the co-actor is important. He is the only giving actor I have worked with," Ali added.
Also starring Anushka Sharma in the lead, 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' revoles around the interesting journey of a Gujarati girl and Punjabi tour guide across the stunning locales of Europe. The movie is slated to release on August 4.
